Proposal - Paige Berry & Sourced Team (NEW)

A Note to Paige

This brief is for you to share with Chrissy and Gabrielle at your discretion. It reflects what we've heard across our conversations: the real bottlenecks & friction Sourced is experiencing, and what becomes possible when the business runs from a core…connected system. There's nothing to sign here. Just an honest picture of where Sourced is, where it could go, and what it costs to stay on the current path.

What We're Seeing at Sourced

Sourced is a respected, award-winning firm with a loyal client base and a leadership team that came out of a recent offsite with real clarity: grow, sharpen positioning, and move upmarket. It’s obvious there is passion and the potential for real momentum.
But there's a gap between the mandate and the machine. The machine has some fundamental constraints that will fight the growth plan at every turn, not because the people aren't capable, but because the system they're working inside isn’t built to scale.
The friction looks like this:
Paige (and a few other key staff) is the human API. Candidate submissions, client management, and outbound sales all route through her. Every time a new client needs to be onboarded or a deal needs to move, it requires Paige. Sourced is running fulfillment and sales through one person. That's a systems problem.
Recruiting velocity is capped. There are approximately $250K in open job orders and two part-time recruiters. Since Sourced doesn't get paid until a role is filled, every day a placement stalls is cash flow that hasn't landed. Recruiters manually check each candidate to figure out the next step. No prioritized task list. No automated client follow-up. The system doesn't tell people what to work on next.
The tool stack is working against you. 26 tools, roughly $111K per year, that don't connect to each other. Time tracking is manual and honor-based, which means inaccurate tracking is direct expense leakage on contractor hours.
Knowledge lives in people, not in a system. Contractors can leave without notice. Scribe recordings exist, but there's no structured knowledge base that lets someone step in and pick up context fast. If a key person walks out, the institutional knowledge walks with them.
AI is used individually at Sourced, but it's not working as a team. Gemini is available to all staff. Gabrielle runs Claude and ChatGPT against each other. Paige uses Perplexity. But there's no shared team context, no shared memory, and no shared output. Everyone has their own flavor. An operating system with shared context is what removes bottlenecks and unlocks true leverage.

What a CompanyOS Actually Is

A Company Operating System is a core connected hub that holds your vision, your execution, your people, your knowledge, and your AI, all in one place, all talking to each other.
Tools help people do tasks. An operating system gives the whole company a single source of truth to run from, so decisions get made faster, work doesn't fall through the cracks, bottlenecks are removed because the business no longer depends on any one person.
For Sourced, a CompanyOS looks like:
  • Recruiters logging in and knowing exactly what to work on today, no manual triage, no chasing status
  • Client follow-ups that happen automatically, so deals don't go cold because someone forgot
  • Leadership with real visibility into where placements stand, where deals are, and what's moving, without having to ask
  • SOPs and client context in one searchable place, so onboarding a new contractor takes days instead of weeks
  • AI that runs on Sourced's data, Sourced's voice, and Sourced's processes, trained for this business specifically
  • A stack that costs less, does more, and unlocks true expansion and growth
Sourced moves faster, Paige gets out of the bottleneck, and the upmarket push happens on a foundation that can hold the weight of it.

What Happens If Nothing Changes

Worth naming plainly.
If Sourced keeps scaling with the current setup, the constraints grow with the company. A larger client base means more coordination through Paige, not less. More job orders mean more manual recruiter triage at higher stakes. A larger contractor base means more knowledge risk. A more complex operation means the tool stack gets harder to manage, not easier.
The offsite produced a clear growth mandate. Growth compounds both the good and the friction. Without a system that scales with the business, the team works harder to produce the same output, and the ceiling on what's possible stays tied to how much any one person can hold.
The cost shows up in placements that take longer than they should, cash flow that arrives later than it should, and a leader who can't step into the sales role because fulfillment keeps pulling her back.

Why This Conversation, Why Now

The offsite was a forcing function. Chrissy, Gabrielle, and Paige came out of it aligned on direction. That kind of alignment is rare, and it's the right moment to decide what infrastructure the next chapter runs on.
Companies that move upmarket build the system before the scale reveals all the cracks. The ones that wait tend to spend the next two years doing expensive repairs instead of compounding growth.
This is that moment for Sourced.

The Conversation We'd Like to Have

We're suggesting a 45 minute call with Paige, Chrissy, and Gabrielle. We want to hear the full picture from the people running the business and make sure what we've outlined here actually maps to what you’re experiencing.
If it does, we'll show you exactly what an operating system built for Sourced's model looks like. If it doesn't, you’ll leave with a clearer map of what's actually in the way.
Either way, it's a worthwhile 45 minutes.
